Brisbane Pop-Up to put the sparkle into business events

Conference and event organisers can ensure their next event is a glittering success by meeting with leading venues, hotels and suppliers at Brisbane Pop-Up this August.

Now in its 10th year, Brisbane Pop-Up will take place at Brisbane City Hall on 24 August with exhibitors set to experiment with the theme “sparkle”.

Brisbane Convention Bureau Acting General Manager Juliet Alabaster said Brisbane Pop-Up had gained in popularity over the years thanks to its efficient 2.5-hour format.

“In 2016 Brisbane Pop-Up attracted a record 80 exhibitors and more than 350 business event planners, and we expect even more to come through the doors this year,” Alabaster said.

“The showcase has become an annual tradition for local and interstate event planners who see real value in meeting with the city’s venues, hotels and suppliers under one roof.

“Attendees can stay for the full 2.5 hours or pop in at their leisure to connect with contacts; learn about new venues, products and services; and get fresh ideas for their next event.”

Attendance at Brisbane Pop-Up is free for registered guests and includes lunch and prize giveaways from the participating exhibitors.

Date: Thursday, 24 August
Where: Brisbane City Hall Auditorium, King George Square
Time: 11.30am – 2pm
