CINZ takes home top award

Conventions and Incentives New Zealand’s (CINZ) website has taken the crown for the 2015 IMA Outstanding Achievement Award in the Travel and Tourism category.

CINZ Chief Executive Sue Sullivan says the team is delighted to be recognised with this international award.

“Our website has proved to be a winning tool since its launch late last year, and it works seamlessly as a silo of information and answers for both event managers and members,” she said.

Created by Reserve Group, the new site was launched in September 2015.

The IMA judges said the website “…excelled in most areas of our judging criteria and represents a very high standard of planning, execution and overall professionalism.”

Sullivan said CINZ recognised that technology was a crucial enabler, connecting buyers with members, and providing detailed information on conferences and incentives in New Zealand.

“We have succeeded in making our website the go-to source for everything from membership, to statistics and data, and events, and it provides the detail on New Zealand’s regions, bureaux, venues, activities, events, CINZ-approved PCOs, DMCs.”

Reserve Group CEO Henrik Arlund said “the site was designed and built with a focus on providing an excellent user experience. It gives CINZ an invaluable tool to communicate to both members and the public, and we are excited about new functionality that will be added in 2016″.
