New website captures vibrant business event destination

Business Events Tasmania (BET) has launched its new website, which is designed to make finding ideal business event destinations a breeze.

Stuart Nettlefold, CEO of Business Events Tasmania, says the new site is designed to help Tasmania compete in the lucrative conference and incentive market, encouraging event planners to bring their next business event to Tasmania.

“The look and feel of the new website captures who we (BET) are, the services we offer and what Tasmania has become – an exciting, vibrant business event destination,” Nettlefold said.

“The website is the first step for event planners researching destinations and seeking inspiration.

“The functionality of the new site makes it attractive for event planners, providing direct access to suppliers who can deliver the experiences they are after, and to contact our team and request a proposal online,” he said.

Rich with inspiring images, the website showcases the four distinct regions of Tasmania, the regions business events hosting capabilities and the far from ordinary experience delegates can have when visiting Tasmania.

With a larger percentage of visitors now accessing information via mobile or tablet, the new website can be viewed on different devices delivering a more personalised experience for planners.

“Business Events Tasmania aims to grow Tasmania’s demand as a business events destination, and the new website will assist us in achieving this goal,” Nettlefold said.

Hot off the press and in great demand, the 2017-18 Business Events Tasmania Planners Guide is now available on our new website for event planners to download or view.
