The great thing about my job is… The opportunity to be creative. North Star has a reputation for pioneering. Almost everything you touch is new.

The challenge for the industry is… To be unique, special in some way, and different. There is no shortage of outstanding holiday experiences – if you want to capture attention, especially on the world stage, you need to offer something that others do not.

My greatest achievement is… Being a dad.

The biggest thing in MICE this year will be… Adapting – a new world order will bring change to every industry.

I try to relax by… Spending time with my family, and going fishing.

I don’t understand why… Government does not always seem to appreciate the value of small business, regardless of the agenda.

Currently the album playing on my iPod is… Coldplay’s Mylo Xyloto.

My favourite venue is…  The MCG.

I am scared to death of… Underachievement.

I can’t live without… Being organized.

Blackberry or iPhone…  Windows HTC.

I really wish I had… Plenty of time.

If I could invite four people to a dinner party, they’d be…  Jessica Alba – she is gorgeous, Lily Allen – she is feisty, Lady Gaga – she is outrageous, and Bear Grylls – he might help me survive the night.
